Travco reaps six awards at WTM in London

As customary of Travco, this year it provided a strong presence through six individual stands namely, Travco Egypt, Travco Dubai, Travco Abu Dhabi, Travco Oman, Jaz Hotels & Resorts, and Miramar Al Aqah Beach Resort in Fujairah. In turn Travco continued to present the tourism trade with new offerings throughout its full range of products and services showcasing the Hotels, Nile cruises, MICE and business travel solutions, safari and adventure holidays, golf, and beach holidays.

Travco, Egypt's leading leisure group, is continuously expanding its hotel presence in various destinations across the Middle East several of which made a debut during WTM namely Jaz Makadi Golf in Madinat Makadi, Sol Y Mar Dar El Madina in Marsa Alam, Sol Y Mar Shams Suites in Sharm El Sheikh, and Sol Y Mar Ivory Suites and Jaz Aquamarine in Hurghada, in addition to the hotels currently under construction and due to open in 2009 such as Sol Y Mar Moreen Resort & Spa in Marsa Alam, Jaz Oriental and Jaz Crystal in the company's Almaza Bay project in Mersa Matruh, Sharks Bay in Sharm El Sheikh, Jaz Royal Taba, Jaz Little Venice Golf Resort in Ain El Sukhna, and Jaz Bab El Shams in Sharm El Sheikh, which is due to launch by 2010. Moreover, the company promoted Jordan as a new destination through the development of Jaz Tala Bay Resort, which is due to open in 2009.

Travco is not only focusing on its expansion, but it is committed to implementing the highest integrated standards of hospitality services which caught the attention of companies from diverse destinations such as Malta, Canada, USA, UK, and India to cooperate with Travco, as well as potential business partnerships with Ad- Hock, Tour- Series, and F.I.T starting from 2009, as Mr. Khaled Koraa, international sales director Travco Group stated.

In parallel to the WTM, TUI Travel PLC, the UK's number one tour operator, hosted the Gold Medal Award party in which Jaz Hotels & Resorts received awards for its hotel properties Jaz Mirabel Beach, Jaz Mirabel Park, and Iberotel Palace in Sharm El Sheikh, as well as M/S Jaz Regency, one of Travcotels' 5- star deluxe cruise ships.

Additionally, and for the 4th consecutive year, Travcotels' M/S Tania and M/S Royale received the SAGA Food Award from SAGA Holidays, one of UK's leading Tour Operators. Travcotels' dedication to achieving the highest standards of hospitality and customer satisfaction played a great role in receiving that award, which was received by Mrs. Nelly Fahmy, director of sales Travcotels during the Annual Awards Dinner that took place on Tuesday 11th November. These awards are given on behalf of Saga customers who have scored their holidays in the customer satisfaction questionnaires, highlighting holiday experiences that have consistently gone beyond their expectations.
