HP's Imaging and Printing Group announces its new dedicated 'Dream Team' for the Middle East

Hewlett-Packard's Imaging and Printing Group (IPG) Middle East has recently announced a series of executive promotions reflecting the company's commitment to build and maintain a strong and dynamic management team across its Imaging and Printing business within the Middle East region.

Amr Hassan, General Manager, HP IPG Middle East, said:
"The rationalization of our business operations and our vision will require strong leadership and effective management. The creation of the new management team reflects the continuing evolution and success of the printing business in the Middle East region and our commitment for always providing better solutions for our customers. As the HP Imaging and Printing Business Unit; we have struck a chord with our customers in the region, advancing their experience, materializing their documentation and reinforcing the importance of quality printing."


"We are confident that the new management and appointments at HP's IPG Middle East will provide a strong platform for the future growth of our company. It will allow us to align with our Print 2.0 strategy, improve our customer focus, aid in executing our strategy and drive our business results," he added

HP's Imaging and Printing Groups new structure will consist of the following:

The Inkjet & Web Solutions Business (IWS), led by Asad Syed, is responsible for InkJet products and solutions (hardware, software and ink/media supplies) and consumer and SMB (non-IT) segments. Additionally, IWS will be responsible for the Retail route-to-market for all hardware, supplies, and software categories. As such, IWS hosts the Consumer segment and route-to-market for both IPG and PSG products.

The Laser and Enterprise Business Solutions (LES), led by Ernest Azzam, is responsible for all LaserJet products and HP solutions (hardware, software and toner supplies), including multifunctional printers (MFP's) and Edgeline, which previously resided in the Enterprise go to market.

The Graphic Solutions Business (GSB), led also by Amr Hassan, is responsible for all Graphics products and solutions (hardware, software and supplies), including Large Format Printing/Design Jet, the Signage and Display Business and GSB related Supplies. The team will be accountable for direct and indirect sales of Graphic hardware and supplies through specialty routes-to-market.

The Enterprise Sales and Services, led by Prateek Dayal will drive sales of IPG products, software, solutions and services to Enterprise customers, including the public sector. The team will be focused on optimizing Enterprise route-to-market effectiveness, building on the team's success and momentum. Additionally, they will have responsibility for managing the Managed Print Services P&L, vertical industries and the Solution Partner Program within the region.

Amr Hassan HP's General Manager IPG Middle East added, "Our new organization and our vision will be driving our business towards not only more growth in the region but mostly towards an enhanced customer focused approach. As our IPG's Executive Vice President Vymoesh Joshi said, the realignment is not just about doing things better - it's about customer focus and doing things differently."
