Great Sea Adventure lands at Bahrain City Centre part of international entertainment for Grand Opening

City Centre will run 3 shows each day, at 4 pm, 7pm and 9 pm with momentum building from the first show, which is open to the public from the afternoon of the December 14th, followed by the eagerly anticipated arrival of the life size Buccaneer ship on Friday December 19th for a grand finale of show's which run through to December 29th. The mall will be closed to the public until 2:00 pm on December 14th for private, VIP Grand Opening functions.

"The Grand Opening celebrations will include three daily, 30 minute entertainment performances: One for children, and two for family audiences; an impressive array of entertainment that incorporate a mix of water, aerial, dance and light effects in the centre galleria; and various interactive promotions for children and families. This is our way of saying 'thank you' to all our visitors who have embraced us as a fundamental part of their lives,"

explained Derek Rossel, General Manager of the Bahrain City Centre.

Families can enjoy a suspense-filled 'Great Sea Adventure' that on December 19th will transform the shopping centre floor into a colossal waterway complete with an island fort with its own jetty, cannons and guarding militia dozing in the hot tropical sun.

A 40-strong international troupe of performers from Boswell Wilke Circus will engage the audience in this motley adventure, as families will witness a magical, maniacally mad battle which takes place on flying ropes, climbing masts, hanging perches and swinging webs.

To keep the magic of the 'Great Sea Adventure' going, the Bahrain City Centre has also brought in a collection of related activities for children.

Parents and adults can get in on the fun, too. The Bahrain City Centre will also run a Great Sea Adventure 'Spend & Win' Promotion whereby shoppers will get a chance to win the 'Great Sea Adventure' chest valued at BD10,000 worth of vouchers and Gold bullion for every BD20 spent.

The Bahrain City Centre has been warmly embraced by the people of Bahrain and visitors to the Kingdom, and is quickly becoming the Kingdom's ultimate shopping destination.

Next year will see the addition of the much-anticipated waterpark, which will be the first in the Kingdom, two luxury hotels, the region's largest cinema, the completion of Magic Planet, which will incorporate a 10-pin bowling alley, three additional cafes, five new restaurants and one specialty food outlet.
