Sought world over, Ray-Ban's iconic Aviator model became famous when General Douglas MacArthur landed on the beach in the Philippines in World War II, and photographers snapped pictures of him wearing them. It's a brand often worn in movies, starting with the 1961 Audrey Hepburn movie 'Breakfast at Tiffany's'. Will Smith too wore them in 'Men in Black' and more recently, none other than president-elect Barack Obama has been photographed wearing Ray-Ban sunglasses.
