Batelco presents scholarships to winning students CEO congratulates graduates

Eight lucky students are set to further their education, thanks to Batelco.
Batelco provides scholarships annually to a number of their employees' children as part of the company's commitment to provide excellent benefits for staff. The university scholarships will cover the cost of three to five years of enrolment at University of Bahrain or its equivalent.
Batelco CEO Peter Kaliaropoulos who was in attendance with a number of his senior leadership team commended the winning students on the hard work they put in to gain excellent grades and win a scholarship.
"Such hard work is good preparation for your future careers," he told the students, "as the culture in Bahrain and the region is now based on competition and it takes continuous hard work to excel."
"To succeed also takes passion and dedication and you have shown that you have the credentials and ability to be very successful."
In addition, four students who previously won scholarships through the Batelco Scholarship scheme and have now completed their degrees were congratulated by Mr. Kaliaropoulos. The recent graduates are Hussain Ali Yousif Mashkoor and Hussain Ali Abdulla Alalgami who both completed their BSc in Computing, Roqaya A. Zahra - BSc in Banking & Finance and Osama Mohamed Al Ebrahim - BSc in Law.
Batelco is a leading supporter of the youth of Bahrain, annually contributing significant sums of money to promote academic, sports and musical ability to ensure that the Kingdom's future generations stand alongside the best the world has to offer.
