Strong representation from Europe at GEMEX 2003

The UK, France, and Germany will be represented by various cable, satellite and broadcasting companies showcasing the latest from the respective industries. A handful of Belgian companies, as well as companies from Italy, Spain, Denmark, the Netherlands and Switzerland, will also exhibit their latest products at the show.

The growing interest Europe is demonstrating shows that the opportunities Middle East offers to global media players are plentiful. This immense international trade show is expected to further boost Dubai's role as an important media hub regionally and internationally, and intends to provide cable, satellite, broadcast, and media professionals and enthusiasts with an opportunity to learn about the newest trends and technologies fuelling growth of the media industry in the region and globally.

UK companies are keen to take advantage of the many opportunities the region has to offer. The show's popularity continues to increase every year, as UK companies realise that it not only attracts the home market but also influential international visitors, opening up markets in the Gulf States, Middle East, CIS, East Africa and the Asian sub-continent.
