The unique development, which was unveiled at an exclusive event at the Madinat Jumeirah, experienced an immediate interest from the 1300 potential investors, real estate experts and prominent personalities who attended.

Bollywood star Fardeen Khan was there to introduce the project, which is to be the first Apartment Hotel based in the up and coming Emirate of Ajman, and guests were treated to a host of international entertainment and cuisine.

Saeed Currimjee, Managing Partner of Al Jabal Real Estate, said:
"We are delighted by the reception The Crescent Star development received at the launch. We closed a very impressive 30% of sales on the evening and interest has soared among end users in particular. It's reassuring to see that despite the slow down in the global market investors have recognised the great investment opportunity that the Crescent Star presents and are already vying for a slice of the profits. This is the first development of its kind in Ajman where investors can literally earn by the day in the hotel sector and not be subject to the real estate market fluctuations. True to our strong ethical standards, Al Jabal employ a leading auditing firm to calculate profits and submit findings to owners to ensure absolute transparency."

Based in the newest entrant in the rise of freehold developments in Ajman, Marmooka City, Al Jabal Holdings have displayed their flare for innovation by tactically selecting the region as the next investment opportunity. With a continuously lengthening list of reasons to invest there and flying in the face of the current global financial crisis, Ajman is fast becoming the ultimate money-making 'hot-spot'. According to a survey from the HotelBenchmark by Deloitte (year end 2007), the Middle East hotel industry remains one of the fastest growing regions in the world with occupancy rates in Dubai over 80% average. Ajman hotels are also experiencing an unprecedented 80+% occupancy.

Bollywood star, Fardeen Khan, who introduced the project on the night and has availed of the investment opportunity himself said, "The reception to the Crescent Star project is not at all suprising. This investment makes perfect sense for those looking for a great money making opportunity as well as a state of the art setting to enjoy the perfect break from everyday life. Its location within Marmooka City, located only 30 minutes away from Dubai Airport, just adds to the attractiveness of the development and I am already looking forward to experiencing my first holiday at the Crescent Star."

Investors of the 33 storey development can expect to choose from 515 rooms ranging from standard rooms to 3 bedroom suites. The architecture and interior design was revealed as having a contemporary, chic theme with state of the art features, some of which have never before been seen in the UAE.

Every room/suite will have simple but important features to including Energy Management Systems to ensure cost savings of nearly 30%, flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, movies and internationally enabled plug sockets for power, iPod, Notebook, wii. Research shows that next generation hotels will have to appeal to the traveler who is far more adventurous, curious, environmentally conscious and far more tech-focused than their parents. They have also revealed a rooftop 'Smart Swimming Pool' which comes equipped with a water treadmill for those interested in a different kind of workout!

Real estate experts will have recognised the Crescent Star development as one of the most business savvy investment opportunities of 2008. As the second successful Ajman based project Al Jabal Holdings has introduced this year, the company has cemented its place as one of the UAE's leading up and coming developers.
