Quintica ME estimates that adoption of IT Governance could boost IT service efficiency by around 25%.

The campaign emphasizes the importance of prioritizing IT Governance throughout businesses in the region in order to optimize operational efficiency, given the current global economic crisis. Quintica ME will conduct training seminars to educate the public and private sectors on the vital role of IT Governance in organizational effectiveness. The company will highlight how the application of IT Governance ensures delivery of key IT services to customers, which in turn benefits corporate stakeholders who ultimately will reward the employees who provided the services efficiently.

"The current financial crisis enveloping global markets has forced organizations to rethink their budget strategies and priorities. One of the areas they are focusing on is IT, which is one of the most resource- and personnel-intensive corporate segments and yet is one of the most vital and strategic aspects of modern business operations. This is why we decided to introduce this campaign, to send out the message that it is possible to streamline IT activities without compromising quality or productivity. IT Governance provides a way out of the numerous financial dilemmas faced by organizations affected by the international credit crunch," said Colin Cloete, Managing Director, Quintica ME.

IT Governance is delivered through various international frameworks and standards, such as The Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology (CobiT), and ISO/IEC 20000. Among the specific benefits of IT Governance are optimized risk exposure, enhanced teamwork and morale through a clear definition of stakeholder roles and responsibilities, improved customer relationships, transparency, service continuity, achievement of business objectives and higher-quality IT Service delivery.

"Most of our clients are quick to point out that they are not implementing or improving IT Governance for the sake of IT Governance, but rather because it makes sense across the business for profitability, survival and service provision perspectives. Given today's highly competitive and unpredictable markets, organizations need to take a more sensible, productive and economic approach to IT management. IT Governance covers these concerns and more, and should thus be on top of the agenda of all forward-thinking businesses,"

concluded Cloete.
