Al Ansari said:
"During the first phase of our successful roadshow, which covered Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Sudan, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and Yemen, we met with thousands of ambitious Arab youth who were keen to pursue their Master's education at top-tier universities. The Foundation's strategy is to capitalize on the prevailing enthusiasm to bolster development efforts across the Arab World."
"Through our two scholarship programmes in the Knowledge and Education sector, the Foundation aims to develop a new generation of progressive leaders who can contribute effectively to the Arab world. We are confident youth in the GCC region will welcome the Foundation's programmes that will help them play a participatory role in furthering the region's growth," he added.
Launched in April 2008, the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Pioneers Programme extends the necessary financial support to talented Arab youth seeking to acquire a Master's degree at leading universities in the Arab World.
Through the Fellows Programme, launched late last year, the Foundation has opened up new horizons for aspiring Arab students to obtain postgraduate degrees in Business Administration (MBA), Public Administration (MPA), Public Policy (MPP) and Finance from leading international universities.
