Elite Program launches Executive Health and Wellness module

Elite Program, a specialized program initiated by the Executive Office of Dubai and managed by Mohammed Bin Rashid Programme for Leadership Development (MBRPLD) has announced that it has recently launched the new Executive Health and Wellness module as part of initiatives to promote a work-life balance in the continuous development of the program participants.

The new module provides participants with a series of activities that focus on improving their health and enhancing their competitiveness amid the stressful challenges within and outside the workplace.

The Executive Health and Wellness module likewise aims to cultivate a sense of achievement and enjoyment among the participants - key concepts that the Elite Program Department believes are at the core of an effective and successful work-life balance.

Adel Al Shared, CEO of Elite Program said:
"Stress is unavoidable but there are ways to reduce and even eliminate its negative impact on the overall performance of an individual. The Elite Program has developed the Executive Health and Wellness module specifically to deal with the stress factor and help participants become better equipped to deal with stress-related issues in the workplace or in one's private life. By facilitating relevant activities and providing essential information, we believe this initiative will deliver excellent positive results in terms of producing more productive leaders and creating a more conducive work environment."


Abdulla Bin Touq, participant, said: "For people working in stressful work environments, it is important to know how to deal effectively with different kinds of stress. This module, which focuses on the process of controlling the causes and impact of stress, is extremely valuable. The highly relevant activities and practical advice that the new Executive Health and Wellness module offers truly make a huge difference in our ability to evaluate the situation and get a better perspective as leaders, and effectively deal with it."

The Elite Program targets talented young professionals in the 21-25 age bracket who have a bachelor's degree from a recognised university, proven academic excellence, strong leadership potential, working knowledge in both Arabic and English, basic computer skills, and a genuine dedication and commitment to the region's human and socioeconomic progress.

The Elite Program has been established in line with the vision and directions of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai; aiming to develop national leaders capable of promoting the sustainable development of the UAE. H.H. has underscored the critical importance of a highly competent national professional workforce to ensure the country's global sustainability.
