  • PRESS RELEASE

Caren Mojabber has joined Lloyds TSB Corporate Markets, Middle East as a Relationship Manager in the Financial Institutions team, serving customers based in the region.

Caren joins an established team providing domestic and international banking services for banks, investment companies and other financial institutions, as well as sovereign entities.

The team provides transactional, financing and treasury services, as well as risk management, and has been based in Dubai since 2007.

Ian Matthews, Relationship Director Financial Institutions, leads the team in Dubai.

He said,
"I am delighted to announce Caren's appointment, as it demonstrates an important commitment to the region. While global conditions remain difficult, the financial services market in the Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC) continues to grow and Lloyds TSB is well-paced to support local financial institutions throughout the cycle. Caren's experience and her fluency in Arabic mean she is sure to build on the strong, long-term relationships we already have with our clients here."

Richard Yerbury, Relationship Director Financial Institutions, said, "The GCC is an important growth area for Lloyds TSB Financial Institutions, and I am thrilled Caren is joining us. Since the team relocated to Dubai in 2007, we have seen strong business growth supported by delivery of new products. Caren's arrival continues that momentum."

Caren Mojabber said, "I am excited to be joining Lloyds TSB in Dubai as part of this dynamic team. The regional market is growing, and I am looking forward to working with our customers in the Middle East and supporting them as they continue to develop.."

Caren will be responsible for covering Financial Institutions in the UAE, Oman and Saudi Arabia.

She joins Lloyds TSB from HSBC, where she worked in the Global Banking and Markets team.
