According to the latest Future Source (DTC rankings) BenQ holds top spot in worldwide DLP front projector market.

BenQ - Texas Instruments DLP Technology partnership dates back to over 10 years. BenQ has been one of the first DLP global manufacturing customers to release a product leveraging the DLP chip.

In another report from DTC BenQ Middle East became number one in overall projector market in MEA region to top the list during the third quarter of 2008.

BenQ recently launched its Short Throw series projectors which are loaded with the latest features that provide superior display performance and thoughtful features. The all new BenQ MP512ST & MP522ST, MP771 projectors, which make up BenQ's new short-throw projector series, delivers larger pictures at shorter distances.

All BenQ projectors use the Texas Instruments DLP technology, which provides necessary motive power to make the pictures look sharper. This industry recognised technology improves colour accuracy and enables better use of lamp spectrum to achieve brighter projection. Plus, all DLP projector components are completely sealed so that dust cannot affect the image, which makes BenQ projectors highly competitive over its counterparts due to being inherently lower maintenance.

'Persevere with technology and accomplish innovations', that's what the purple warriors are chanting these days as the company celebrates the top title and 10 years of association with TI.

"Our collaboration with TI has helped us create a host of inexpensive and amazingly high performance projectors. The fact that BenQ has toped Middle East projector market share confirms that BenQ has incorporated the best technologies that are unmatched,"
said Manish Bakshi, General Manager, BenQ Middle East and Africa.

"The BenQ TI synergy has worked wonders in the projector market since inception and currently BenQ is our top selling vendor in the Middle East. We have worked closely for more than 10 years now and we look forward to a continued association,"
said John R. Reder, Business Development Manager (EMEA), Texas Instruments DLP Products.

Since BenQ embarked on the DLP projector sector in 1996 till the first DLP projector branded BenQ was announced on 5 December 2001, 'to create a better digital life through innovative products' has always been BenQ's commitment in DLP projectors.

Over the years, BenQ has continued to make steady advances by introducing world's highest contrast ratio home theater projector, world's lightest wireless projector, world's quietest business projector, etc, that have served to make it a technology preferred by many.

Currently, BenQ Middle East highlighted TI participation in a high-profile launch function of its latest range of short throw projectors in Dubai. The dealer meet in Abu Dhabi & distributor meet in UAE also focused on TI's active participation and support in promoting BenQ projectors.
