Titled: "Public Relations and Collaboration: The Role of Public Relations and Communications Supporting Collaboration in a Complex, Converging World," the paper explores and advances the concept that globalization can be a catalyst to redefine the role and purpose of public relations in globally integrated enterprises, so as to be of greater strategic value to both business and society.
The paper delves into the fact that globalization (characterized by new levels of interdependence and interconnectedness) presents transnational corporations with new challenges and unprecedented opportunities for collaboration with an array of stakeholders in and across diverse countries and cultures, to create sustainable value for business and society.
