Hertz teams up with Marriott to offer spring weekend attractions

Hertz, the world's largest car rental company, has teamed up with Marriott to offer members of the Marriott Rewards programme a chance to escape and relax with attractive promotional weekend packages this spring.

Within the UK and throughout Europe, Hertz is offering triple Marriott Rewards points for every weekend rental booked and honoured by Marriott Rewards members.

To compliment the car rental offer from Hertz, Marriott is offering a discount on Marriott Weekend Escapes at any of its participating hotels in Europe. Both offers are valid from February 1, 2003 to April 30, 2003.

Meanwhile, Hertz has also announced special discounted rental rates for visitors from around the globe to the International Tourism Exchange ITB, Berlin 2003, the world's largest tourism fair, taking place from March 7 to March 11.

Hertz has also signed a new long-term agreement with its franchisee in Iceland, Icelandair Car Rental. The franchisee, a division of the airline Icelandair, has worked with Hertz for over 20 years in which time its car rental business has tripled in size.
