Global insurer supports 'Clean Up UAE 2008' campaign

Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance Co., Ltd., which is not only Japan's top insurance company but also one of the world's top ten international insurer and world's largest marine cargo insurer, today announced that it will co-sponsor the 'Clean Up UAE 2008' campaign - an initiative by the Emirates Environmental Group (EEG), to take place on Thursday, December 18, 2008.

The campaign in Dubai will be held along the area next to Dubai Investment Park.

Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance Co., Ltd., is well-known for its global association with corporate social responsibility and community projects, and its association with EEG is part of this commitment.

The 'Clean Up UAE 2008' campaign by EEG and its efforts to encourage common people to invest personal time to a social cause syncs well with the corporate practices and ideologies of the organisation. In its 7th year now, the 'Clean up UAE' campaign has grown considerably attracting participants from all over the country.
