- PRESS RELEASE
Enoc, one of the key sponsors of Dubai Shopping Festival has reported an increase of 10 percent during Dubai Shopping Festival 2003 over DSF in 2002.
Says Mr Hussain Sultan, Chief Executive and Board Member, ENOC, "The Dubai Shopping Festival is always an exciting time for us. We are very busy but also optimistic that the period will result in higher revenues. It is also our chance to underscore our support for the government's initiatives in travel, tourism and business.
Describing the response received to Dubai Shopping Festival promotions, Mr. Sultan said, "By focusing on providing the customers more chances of winning, we can see that we are making our customers happy - as indicated by the huge turnout in our service stations. We have partnered with some of the biggest FMCG suppliers to provide value for money offers during the period. Most of them have prepared pakages to make it easy for customers to reach the minimum purchase requirement for the free tickets. Of course, phone cards are also a bestseller."
Mr. Sultan added that the convenience stores reflected a virtual united nations of customers and said, " Conservatively, we are looking at more than 10 percent over last year, which was the best year in our history."
