Qatar Tourism and Exhibitions Authority promotes Qatar's identity for National Day

Qatar Tourism and Exhibitions Authority, which sets up rating schemes and hotel regulation to provide visitors and tourists with the best hospitality, is promoting Qatar's identity for National Day through a unified plan for all tourist establishments and hotels in Qatar.

Qatar Tourism and Exhibitions Authority has requested every hospitality establishment in Qatar, through a circular, to have Qatar's symbols visible on the National Day, on December 18. Qatari flags will be placed in visible areas in each hotels, as well as flowers bouquets with white and purple flowers should be arranged.

All working crew in hotels and tourists establishments will put on the National Day buttons, showing the logo of the State National Day, and every female staff will wear the traditional GCC dress, called 'nashl'.

Mr Ahmed Abdallah Al Nuaimi, Chairman of Qatar Tourism and Exhibitions Authority, commented:
"As part of Qatar Tourism and Exhibitions Authority's strategy which reveals Qatari's spirit, a cultural pride shared with an open-mind, we are proud to welcome all visitors to Qatar with a true Qatari hospitality and upscale standards. We show all travellers that Qatar has a lasting and lively heritage, with strong traditions, shared by every citizen and resident with warmth.
