Dr. Mansoor Al Awar, Vice President & Chief Executive Officer of e-TQM College, said:
"The forum on e-learning excellence in the Middle East is particularly important for our college specially in times like this when the financial crisis is hitting all sectors of the society, yet the second Conference on excellence in e-Learning attains special support from the Ministry of Education and higher education and scientific research and the League of Arab States, in addition to the support of the Arab Academy for technology and Maritime Transport of Alexandria, in addition to the support of the European Union, represented by the Association of European educational institutions (ELIG)."
"This forum is held under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research. In addition to that elite Specialists in the field of e-learning from all over the world are attending the forum; they will explain and give a more profound idea about e-learning which revolutionized the field of education in the past decade," he added.
Dr. Narimane Hadj Hamou, Assistant Vice president for Academic Affairs at e-TQM College and forum chair, said: "The Second Forum on e-learning excellence will focus on four key elements: inspire, innovate, initiate, and impact. The Forum will bring together professionals and e-learning experts from around the world to discuss the future of education and e-learning. It will also provide a platform for teachers, researchers and practitioners of e-learning to discuss innovative ways to implement this type of education. The forum will also work on developing innovative models for teaching and learning."
The forum will present the latest technologies and innovations in the field of e-learning. And will promote the exchange of practices and studies relevant to the planning, design and development of e-Learning.
Dr. Narimane Hadj Hamou said: "The second forum on in e-learning excellence in the Middle East is a continuation of the success of last year's forum, which witnessed large participation of those interested in e-learning, the majority of the participants were from the UAE 60%, a large share of the participants came from : Saudi Arabia 14% and 5% Bahrain, Canada and the United States of America 4% and 4% United Kingdom."
Dr Narimane further added: "e-learning leaders and officials will create synergies for development both in research and development programs of excellence in e-learning in the Middle East."
