Continuous growth and competitive position in dentistry global market at AEEDC Dubai's 13th edition

Index Conferences and Exhibitions Organization Est., a member of Index Holding, has assigned the 10th of March as the first day of the 2009 UAE International Dental Conference & Arab Dental Exhibition - AEEDC Dubai, at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The conference will be held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance, President of the Dubai Health Authority.

AEEDC Dubai is the only dental gathering in the Middle East which covers the whole gulf region as well as MENA region. It is a great opportunity to all leading manufacturers and new comers to expand their market in the Gulf and Middle East region and to create new connections with establishments from around the world.

The event is organised by Index Conferences and Exhibitions and in cooperation with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), and in strategic partnership with Ministry of Interior Naturalization and Residency Administration - Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and supported by Charite University of Berlin, Riyadh College of Dentistry, Health Management and Dental Horizons.

AEEDC Dubai is launching its 13th anniversary with series of lectures to be delivered during the event, with the participation of more than 68 international speakers specialised in Dentistry.

Endodontics, General Practitioners, Dental Students, Interns, Residents and Pedodontics will have the chance to attend and benefit from these lectures, in addition to the chance to meet the lecturers themselves during the three days Conference from the 10th until the 12th of March 2009.

Professor Kishor Gulabivala from the United Kingdom and Prof. Asgeir Sigurdsson from Iceland are key Endodontics Speakers at the AEEDC 2009.

Professor Gulabivala - Head of Endodontology UCL Eastman Dental Institute University College in London - is delivering two lectures on the 10th and 11th of March 2009 at the AEEDC Dubai 2009 Conference;

• Root Canal System Shaping - Paradigms, Skills and Techniques.
• And Shaping Versus Cleaning & Sealing - Healing Versus Surviving.

Prof. Sigurdsson - the President of the International Association for Dental Traumatology (IADT) - is also participating at the AEEDC Dubai 2009 Conference with two lectures on the 10th and 12th of March 2009;

• Is it Toothache.
• And Revascularization of Immature Teeth.

Last year, more than 20,000 Dental professionals from 113 countries attended the conference, while more than 600 companies from nearly 100 countries exhibited their products at AEEDC 2008. The overall feedback from all the attendees was extremely outstanding and encouraging. And in 2009, AEEDC Dubai is attracting more than 650 major companies from 113 countries.

This year AEEDC Dubai has attracted participating exhibitors from Australia, Belgium, Brazil, China, Finland, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Korea, Pakistan, Switzerland, Turkey, UK, United Arab Emirates, USA, and other more participating countries.

AEEDC Dubai 2009 also offers highly specialised pre-conference courses - Dubai World Dental Meeting - DWDM which will be held from the 7 - 9th of March and will focus on the most-up-to-date researches and practices in the field of Dentistry. The researches often are presented by prominent international and regional speakers.

AEEDC 2009 will continue to offer value added opportunities to leading manufacturers and new ventures to explore Dubai. In addition the conference will open doors for eminent speakers to share their expertise with participants.

AEEDC Dubai is the largest scientific event in the region that attracts thousands of doctors, professionals, exhibitors and visitors annually, it is also considered a platform for promoting research in dentistry in the region and a great chance for Arab Dental Societies and authorities to meet together.
