The market leader recently upgraded its high-speed Gaming Servers with version 1.6 of the popular multiplayer video game, which features real-world weapons and pits a team of counter-terrorists against a team of terrorists in a series of rounds.
Counter Strike is played in almost 250 countries of the world with by an estimated 400 Million people every day and has dedicated tournaments conducted internationally between global teams. Jeel also plans to host a mega Counter Strike tournament between rival teams in KSA and other regional countries soon.
The game is a modification of the multi-awarded Half-Life science fiction FPS video game and was introduced in 1999. Counter-Strike's gaming influence can be found in modifications for games such as Quake III Arena, Unreal Tournament, and other single shooter games such as Global Operations, America's Army, Call of Duty, and True Combat Elite.
