EmaratMisr Petroleum Products Company enters aviation fuel supply market at Cairo International Airport

EmaratMisr Petroleum Products Company has completed all formalities including necessary qualifying criteria requirements and all related agreements in accordance with the local and international standards in order to enter the aviation fuel sales market at Cairo International Airport as of December 2008.

This was announced by H.E. Jamal Abdulrehman Al Midfa, General Manager of Emarat and Vice Chairman of EmaratMisr Board of Directors.

Thanks to the significant cooperation between Emarat (United Arab Emirates) and ExxonMobil International, the relevant agreements with Cairo International Airport and ExxonMobil Egypt have been executed including indemnification agreement for insurance cover of in-to-plane services to the customers of EmaratMisr Petroleum Products Company.

EmaratMisr is also in the process of expanding the aviation fuel sales business in other domestic airports of Egypt as well as other projects. These reflect the growing support of the Egyptian Government to EmaratMisr.
