Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle's PeopleSoft Enterprise both named a leader in Human Resource Management Systems

The Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 and Oracle's PeopleSoft Enterprise Release 9.0 are positioned as leaders in the multinational enterprises category of Forrester Research's October 2008 independent report, 'The Forrester Wave: Human Resource Management Systems, Q4 2008.'

Forrester interviewed seven vendors with eight human resource management systems and 30 user companies for 'The Forrester Wave: Human Resource Management Systems, Q4 2008.' The products were evaluated against 104 criteria.

Forrester recognized the Oracle E-Business Suite as a leader in the multinational enterprises category and a Strong Performer in the US midmarket ranking, citing its latest improvements and, along with the other leaders, the 'highest levels of support for languages and localizations (including payroll) by a wide margin.'

The research states that the Oracle E-Business Suite 'has very comprehensive functionality and excellent depth in personnel, benefits, compensation and recruitment.'

Forrester also recognized PeopleSoft as a leader in the multinational enterprises category and as a 'strong performer in the US midmarket ranking.' In addition, the research stated that PeopleSoft 'remains among the most comprehensive HRMS offerings on the market.'
