About Institut de Soudure:

Institut de Soudure (IS), acting as the "French Welding Institute". IS was born in 1905 and is a French not-for-profit organization created originally by French industrial companies. IS is now the voice of France for all matters related to welding within International and European organizations. IS predominant activities are R&D, welding and non destructive process development and IS manages master degree, engineering and professional schools. IS has incorporated a branch in the QSTP in February 2007 and the Joint Venture EADS CCQ Institut de Soudure QSTP LLC has been incorporated in July 2008.
