Lebanon regains tourism in 2008

Tourism ministry director general Nada Sardouk has said Lebanon's tourism industry are back and enjoying its best year since 2004, as number of foreign visitors are expected to reach 1.3 million people for the whole of this year, Gulf Daily News has reported. Hotels have reported 100% occupancy rate for the holidays, taking the rate to more than 70% in Greater Beirut for the last six months.
