The sponsorship validates Arab Media Group's vision of creating a regional platform for Middle Eastern arts and culture to support the increasing number of promising artists not only in the UAE but also the growing market of regional talent.

Abdullatif Al Sayegh, CEO of AMG, said:
"There is a wealth of richness and originality in this region that deserves to be showcased and broadcast across our own media in order to reach our local communities as well as international audiences. We see AMG's direct role as being a lead supporter of the Middle East's prolific arts and cultural landscape."

During the gala dinner, Butheina Hamed Kazim, Project Manager and Head of the Cultural Committee at AMG, stressed the importance of supporting artists at the Dubai International Film Festival and acknowledged the need to find similar platforms to showcase the diverse art community in the Arab world.

Kazim said:
"In our role as promoters of the region's arts and culture movement, we are highly committed to supporting forums such as DIFF. At AMG, we constantly aim to provide a rich exposure to emerging pan-Arab artists and filmmakers, and celebrate the excellence of individuals in arts and culture across the region."
