"We are the leading supplier of flexible packaging adhesives in the Middle East region - in fact, the Middle East represents a significant and growing percentage of our total business worldwide,"
said Ivo Sensini, Sales and Marketing Manager, COIM Novacote Division.
"We are planning to meet with flexible packaging converters from across the region and will hopefully create further interest in our range of flexible packaging adhesives and coatings. At the conclusion of the three days we hope to be closer to our aim of increasing the percentage of our global revenue that results from our Middle East activity."
COIM Novacote is one of a number of businesses participating in Gulf Pack for the first time in 2009 as a result of increased focus on the growing packaging sectors in the Middle East. "The Middle East printing and packaging industries are increasingly attracting global interest - resulting in the Gulf Pack and Gulf Print exhibitions being suitable for a wider variety of businesses to attend than ever before. In 2009 we are also expecting our visitor profile to reflect the increased focus on the Middle East market."
"As the only packaging event to cover the entire Middle East region, Gulf Pack is attracting leading global competitors which will in turn attract visitors from across the region interested in building their business and interacting with other industry players."
