Arab Producers Union honors Alsumaria TV and awards it trophy for year 2008

Mr. Chafic Elias Tabet, the CEO of the TV station, expressed his utmost content for this reward, stressing that it is considered an honor for every employee in the station that was born in September 2004. And this achievement didn't happen without effort, it came as a result of the persistence and hard work that was born with the channel.

He also added that Alsumaria TV is a forum for the Iraqi people, especially that it adopted credibility and objectivity in its news and programs without looking into religious, political or ethnic affiliations, which gained the respect of all the Iraqis.

The station has also committed itself to advocating noble values, democracy, peace and freedom of expression, and that was embodied in a true message the company carried for a unified Iraq.

Mr. Jasim Allami, the TV station manager in Baghdad spoke of the progress of "Alsumaria" that adopted the slogan of: "broadcasting life". He shed the light on the curriculum of the station and its success with the Iraqi viewer who loved it since day one.

He also elaborated about the newest establishments in the world of television and played a movie about "Alsumaria".

Then Mr. Jean Claude Boulos, introduced MOBISION, the sister company for "Alsumaria", which reached a world achievement as it will start broadcasting 20 different channels that can be received on mobile phones starting 15th of January 2009.

Finally Ms. Mireille Akl demonstrated the core of the advertising policy of "Alsumaria TV" that became the favorite for advertisers who want to market their products in Iraq.
