Senior officials from the Global Village Management and the Ministry, including Project Director of Global Village, Abdul Redha Ali Bin Redha, were present during the occasion.

After the ribbon cutting ceremony, the officials and the media were given a tour around the beautifully decorated pavilion. Forsaty in Arabic literally means "my chance" which reflects the significance of the pavilion for Emarati women who can showcase their entrepreneurial skills.

HE Maryam Al Roumi said:
"This is the first time that the Social Affairs Ministry has organized a pavilion in Global Village and the decision was consciously made given the popularity of the venue and the number of people it attracts. The Forsaty pavilion was designed to provide Emarati women a platform to showcase their entrepreneurial skills and to help transform those skills in a meaningful way through the assistance offered by government departments under the supervision of the Social Affairs Ministry."

Abdul Redha Ali Bin Redha said, "Global Village is delighted to host the Forsaty Pavilion and it reflects our continuing commitment in supporting social projects. This particular pavilion is located in a main area of Global Village to give the initiative maximum exposure and to support its participants."

Global Village, that also hosts and supports community events, offered the pavilion free of charge in its full support to the pursuit of the Ministry of Social Affairs.

The Forsaty Pavilion has 22 stalls that are dedicated in showcasing various arts and crafts from the local industry. Showcased items range from traditional Arabic dresses, abayas, jewellery, accessories, bags, art works, gift items, body care products, perfumes, and local cuisine. The pavilion is also easy to locate as it is situated near the entrance of Gate 1, right beside the 'Little Big Club Pavilion.'
