UAE providers reroute calls through US

Due to cuts in submarine cable systems du, one of the UAE telecom providers, was forced to re-route through cable systems in the Far East and western United States. The damage to three cables severely affected voice and internet services. Etisalat is also using alternative routes to ensure continuity of service.
