Gulf International Investment supports the 3rd Business Symposium

Gulf International Investments Company (GII), the leading Investment firm in the Kingdom announced its gold sponsorship for the 3rd Business Symposium which will discuss the role and the future of the Islamic Banking.
The event is scheduled to take place from the 21st till 23rd December 2008 at the University of Bahrain.
Gulf International Investment, Business Development Manager, Mr. Ahmed Shawki, will contribute as a speaker at the 1st day of the event.
Considered as the largest student activity in the kingdom, the event is expected to attract over a 1000 attendees from students and professionals from the region and it's organized by the Society of the Business College at the University of Bahrain for the 3rd year after the remarkable success of the previous 2 events in 2006 and 2007.
The three day symposium will focus on the methods used for establishing Islamic banking, distinguishing traditional banking from Shari'a banking, and the last day of the forum will focus on the global financial crisis and how it is affecting the Middle East.
