These are the first of 25 kiosks which are due in place in malls and heritage centres throughout the emirate by the end of January 2009.l
"This visitor service initiative will greatly enhance the tourist experience within Abu Dhabi emirate,"
said Saeed Al Dhaheri, Acting Visitor Information Manager, ADTA.
"The kiosks are an A to Z of essential information, in English and Arabic, on attractions and events and will assist in spreading knowledge of the emirate's expanding tourism product proposition."
ADTA plans to have all the kiosks operating in five languages - with French, German and Russian capabilities being added - by the end of next year.
