The notable one-day event was organized by the Campaign Against Climate Change UK (CACC) and the Call to Action Jordan movement in collaboration with the Greater Amman Municipality, Tareef Cycling Club and German Technical Cooperation (GTZ), to encourage Arab and world leaders to take stronger action against global warming and climate change issues. NGOs, governmental institutes, private sector companies and individuals from over 70 countries participated in this International event.

As a energy efficiency, green building and renewable energy consultancy firm based in Dubai, UAE and Amman, Jordan, EMS actively promotes environmentally-friendly and cost-effective solutions in the Jordanian and Gulf markets by offering Green Building and Smart Property Solutions (SPS) that involve converting new and existing buildings to ones that are energy efficient, environmentally friendly, and accredited by the US Green Building Council, qualifying them for LEED certification.
