The Queen Rania National Entrepreneurship Competition organizes a seminar

The Queen Rania National Entrepreneurship Competition, an off-shoot of the Queen Rania Center for Entrepreneurship (QRCE), successfully conducted a seminar titled "Strategic Planning Process: A Must in Today's Global Environment".
The significance of the seminar has been exemplified by the 200 attendees it has drawn, comprising a spectrum of General Managers, Project Managers, Sales personnel, Business Developers, HR staff, Marketing employees, SME's and large enterprises, QRCE sponsors, and people interested in entrepreneurship and business.
The speaker and orchestrator of the seminar was Dr. Niren M. Vyas, a Ph.D. holder in Marketing from the University of South Carolina, who has worked for Asian, European, and North American corporations for 27 years, and worked in academia for another 14 years, the last 9 years of which as the Dean of Business School at the University of South Carolina. In addition, Dr. Vyas provides consulting services to companies in the USA, Europe, India, and Nepal. Currently, he is a Visiting Professor with Ahlia University in Bahrain.
Right from the beginning of the seminar, Dr. Vyas captured the attention of his audience by stating that the business community throughout the world is undergoing fast-paced unpredictable changes that call for step by step strategic planning to bring about optimal solutions. Then he posed brain storming questions to his audience which generated active participation with regard to WTO regulations, the impact of the world financial crisis on the area in the near future, and methods of solving business-related issues. Upon concluding the seminar, the attendees gave Dr. Vyas a standing ovation in appreciation of the skills they acquired from the discussions and they left the Auditorium with a new vision to run their businesses.
