The new initiative covers all parts of the world, and provides emergency care services at all times, evacuation, expenses of air travel for the purpose of treatment, 24/7 helpline to offer help to customers and answer their medical inquiries, the appropriate treatment in the most prestigious world hospitals, ticket and accommodation expenses for 3rd party to accompany the patient and many other benefits.

"The scheme includes Al Shifa Silver plan at the value of $1m with a Worldwide Cover excluding the United States and Canada, and Al Shifa Gold Plan at the value of $5m covering all parts of the world including the United States and Canada. Both plans provide free air transport for patients and 3rd party accompaniment, in addition to free accommodation for 3rd party to accompany the patient, evacuation, 24 hour emergency service and the required medication."Mankani added.
He further noted that the new scheme offers special medical care as the patient will be under the supervision of a specialist team and will get managed care services, in addition to many other benefits.
