IFA signs agreement with ManafSoft to manage its operations in Damascus Stock Exchange

IFA Financial Services (Syria) has signed an agreement with ManafSoft, in which the later would provide 'IFA- Syria' with it's Brokerage Platform, Order Management System, Internet Trading, and IPO Management in addition to connecting IFA Financial services (Syria ) to the Damascus Stock Exchange (DES), which is expected to open in the first quarter of 2009.

By signing this agreement, IFA Financial services (Syria) becomes the first brokerage firm in Syria to lay the groundwork for its systems in anticipation to begin working on the DSE.

It is worth noting that IFA Financial services (Syria) is owned by International financial Advisors K.P.C (closed), established in 1974 in Kuwait, in addition to a number of prominent Syrian investors, including Mr. Muwaffag al Gaddah, CEO of MAG Group which owns 55 companies and establishments worldwide and covers real-estate, industrial, commercial and services sectors within Syria, the UAE and other parts of the world.

Moreover, Manafsoft's platform has been in use since 1986, and is depended upon by more than 50 brokerage firms working in several Arabic exchanges.

Manafsoft's headquarters are located in Amman, Jordan, and has a regional office in Dubai, which caters for its client base within the GCC, in addition to other branches in the Middle East and North Africa in order to satisfy all its customer's needs.
