Qatar National Bank receives award

For the second successive year, The Banker, an affiliate publication of the Financial Times, has named Qatar National Bank (QNB) as "Bank of the Year in Qatar" for 2008. The award measures overall performance during the past year. QNB set a new record by exceeding the QR3bn profit mark for the first time in its history, in the nine months ending September 30, 2008.
