Emarat contributes to the Traffic Awareness Campaign launched by RTA

In collaboration with the Roads and Transport Authority, Emirates General Petroleum Corporation (Emarat) contributes to the Traffic Awareness campaign launched in Dubai in order to raise the public awareness of traffic rules and regulations for securing the best means of protection and safety on the roads.

Hussain Kazim, Manager, Corporate Communications at Emarat, appreciated the leading role of the Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai and its substantial efforts to construct an integrated advanced transport network of contemporary roads, bridges and tunnels in Dubai and between Dubai and other Emirates of the UAE. This network is being built in conformity with the most advanced international criteria thus creating harmony with the economic development strategy of the city.

He stated:
"As a service to the motoring public, we are glad to cooperate with RTA in launching this campaign and other objective campaigns that serve the community, upgrade their culture of traffic and roads safety and make transport on roads safer and smoother for all."


The Roads and Transport Authority has distributed wooden guidance dummies in all Emarat service stations in Dubai. These dummies carry messages to raise public awareness on the importance of using seat belts, adhering to the traffic signals, and cautioning risks of speeding on the roads in addition to other messages.
