Spectacular performances with a star-studded lineup of international acts, as well as King and Queen of Neptune legendary characters and face painting bring joy to the mall's shoppers every day from 4pm.

Visitors to the Galleria cannot help but notice the life-sized Buccaneer ship on which the suspense-filled 'Great Sea Adventure' transforms the shopping centre floor into a colossal waterway complete with an island fort with its own jetty, cannons and guarding militia dozing in the hot tropical sun.

A 40-strong international troupe of performers from Boswell Wilke Circus will engage the audience in this motley adventure, as families will witness a magical, maniacally mad battle which takes place on flying ropes, climbing masts, hanging perches and swinging webs.

The show forms an integral part of Bahrain City Centre's grand opening celebrations which kicked off earlier this month and includes three daily 30-minute entertainment performances - one for children and two for family audiences. It also includes an impressive array of entertainment that incorporates a mix of water, aerial, dance and light effects in the centre's galleria; and various interactive promotions for children and families.

As part of these celebrations, Bahrain City Centre is also offering its visitors the chance to win thousands of dinars in the Great Sea Adventure "Spend & Win" Promotion. For every BD20 spent at any of the shops in the mall, a raffle coupon is given to the shopper allowing him/her to enter the draw which will take place on December 30th, 2008.

Derek Rossel, General Manager of the Bahrain City Centre, explained:
"Offering such a great show as well as a prize is the least we can do to thank all our visitors who have supported us since we opened our doors earlier this year."

"We would also like to thank all our retailers for their support and prize contribution to the grand opening. I would like to personally thank the following retailers for contributing to the Treasure Hunt prize: Al Bait Al Bahraini, Alcott, Al Liali Jewellery, Carrefour Hypermarket, Centrepoint, Devji 22, Freedom Furniture, Home Centre, Mango, Monsoon, Mont Blanc, Sacoor Brothers, Sahar Jewellery, Saks Fifth Avenue, Sharaf DG, Zain, Peacocks, BHS and H & M," he concluded.
