Public Libraries hold seven ICDL courses in three months

The ICDL (International Computer Driving License) centre at Umm Suqeim Public Library held seven training courses in ICDL during the last three months.
Mohammed Jassim Al Eraidi, Director of Public Libraries Department in Dubai Municipality said the centre is still offering courses for public and is preparing to conduct examinations for 16 employees of the Ministry of Environment.
He said the Public Libraries Department is aware about the high importance of the modern day language of computers used for electronic interaction. "That is why we have set apart Umm Suqeim Library for spreading the electronic culture and supporting the ICDL centre," said Eraidi.
He also stressed the importance of the existing cooperation between the different establishments in serving the society, especially the cooperation of the Ministry of Environment.
