Renowned Saudi newspapers Arab News and Al Eqtisadiah conferred the distinction to ALFalak based on the company's significant revenues, growth, and Saudization. Arab News has successfully been conducting the survey for the past 10 years. ALFalak's solid presence in the ICT markets of the KSA and Gulf region has enabled the technology-based solutions provider to remain largely unaffected by the present global financial crisis.
Ahmed Ashadawi, President and CEO, ALFalak, said:
"I am deeply grateful to the support provided by our customers, suppliers and partners as well as the dedication constantly shown by our employees, which I consider the main factors for our success. We have marked another productive year and expect 2009 to usher in more milestones as we further enhance our ICT offerings. I also thank Arab News and Al Eqtisadiah for recognizing our dedication and hard work."
ALFalak maintains productive partnerships with leading global brands such as HP, 3M, Alcatel-Lucent, Bluecoat, Juniper, Oracle, Imation, Genius, Compuware, and SAS to meet growing demand for ICT products and services. KSA accounts for approximately 40% of all computer and IT application sales in the Gulf. Demand has jumped 20% as a result of the pursuit of domestic industries to become more technology-enabled. ALFalak has been able to maintain a dynamic lead over its competitors by adopting a customer-focused strategy and promoting a stronger and healthier Saudi community.
ALFalak's impressive client portfolio includes Saudi Aramco, King Abdullah University for Science and Technology (KAUST), PetroRabigh and the Ministry of Culture and Information. As the top ICT provider in the KSA, the company has been able to sustain the momentum of its strong 2007 performance in 2008. ALFalak is comprehensively expanding its product and service offerings by signing strategic projects with various organizations throughout the Kingdom.
