Committee aims to reduce hospital errors

The UAE's Ministry of Health has set up committees comprising senior consultants to spot hospital errors at an early stage and take swift action to avoid repetition. Humaid Mohammed Obaid Al Qattami, the UAE's Minister of Health, says the cost of rectifying hospital errors is seven times the cost of scheduled or routine treatment.
