Weeks of celebration at Bahrain City Centre draw to a close

Today saw weeks of festivities come to an end at Bahrain City Centre.

Celebrating its grand opening, National Day, Accession Day and Christmas, the celebratory period, which began on the 14th of December with a grand ribbon cutting ceremony, presided over by Shaikh Salman bin Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Crown Prince of Bahrain, concluded today with the final 'Great Sea Adventure' show and the drawing of a winner of the Great Sea Adventure treasure chest raffle draw.

According to Derek Rossel, General Manager of the Bahrain City Centre, said:
"In the past two weeks, a record number of visitors have come to the Bahrain City Centre to enjoy the more than 300 shops and restaurants now trading, as well as to watch the incredible rotation of national and international, star-studded entertainment. The success of the past few weeks really cements our place as the ultimate retail and leisure destination in the Kingdom."

Last week, the mall hosted a traditional line up of dancing and entertainment to mark National Day, and visitors from across the Kingdom flocked to see a Bahraini traditional performance and take advantage of the incredible offers on promotions by the malls top brands.

Hundreds of families came to watch the "Great Sea Adventure," complete with its own water kingdom, pirate ship and treasure chest, and partake in the incredible array of family games and workshops. The treasure chest valued at BD10,000 worth of vouchers and gold bullion, the prize for the Bahrain City Centre's grand opening 'spend & win' promotion, was given away today in a raffle draw.
