The agreement aims to publicize the principles of HCAC and help it in achieving its mission and vision through public relations. VARCC and HCAC will be working hand in hand in creating an effective strategy that will in turn be executed using the newest PR tactics available. The strategy aims to build confidence in HCAC and enhance the health sector by focusing on the pursuit of excellence.

Ms. May Abu Hamdia, HCAC Chief Executive Officer signed the agreement on behalf of HCAC, and Tala Abu Taha, General Manager signed on behalf of VARCC Arabian Communications.

HCAC was established through a joint initiative between the Ministry of Health and USAID/Jordan, in response to the necessity of having an independent national entity acting as health care quality steward in the Kingdom. HCAC's current business focus is on hospital accreditation whereby HCAC hospital standards are accredited by an International accreditor of health care accreditation organizations the ISQUA (International Society for Quality in Health Care). The international recognition of HCAC Hospital Accreditation Standards by ISQUA puts HCAC amongst the few national accreditation programs around the world that have ISQua accreditation for their hospital standards.

In order for HCAC to communicate its message to its target audience, VARCC will offer the most unique and creative services based on excellence and effectiveness in the field of media consultation. The agency will be creating and implementing strategies based on continued research and extensive feasibility studies of the present local health care sector dynamics.

Ms. May Abu Hamdia commented:
"The importance of this agreement comes from HCAC's commitment to engagement, partnership, and collaboration to advance the quality of health care in Jordan. Through recruiting media advisors such as VARCC, we can build strong communication channels to promote health care safety and assist in building the quality culture as well as enhance our relations with the health sector."

Ms. Tala Abu Taha, General Manager of VARCC also commented, "We are pleased to sign this agreement which will give us the opportunity to take part in HCAC's cause and commitment for quality and safety in health care in the Kingdom. We are proud to be the strategic advisor for HCAC's communication network between the public, the health sectors and their targeted audience through Council programs during the coming year."
