Bahrain Air ranks the 4th on Google search engine

Bahrain Air, the first Premium service carrier with affordable fares, is a private national carrier located in Bahrain, operating within MENA countries and to the Indian Sub-Content announced today that Bahrain Air has ranked the 4th on the annual Google top searched terms of 2008.

Soha Al Borshaid, Bahrain Air Corp. Communication Asst. Manager said "Google have released the most searched term on Google in UAE and it gives a glimpse into what people of UAE search for when they visit the biggest search engine in the world. Google have cut through the enormous list of data and have build up a list of the fastest rising terms for 2008. Out of many airlines in the region, we are proud to be ranked as the 4th on the UAE fastest Rising." Ms. Al Borshaid Added "Consumers' confidence in Bahrain Air continues to increase as the travel market is driven by strong domestic growth particularly in the region, this shows that since our first flight on the 3rd February 2008 to Dubai up to today we have marked the name Bahrain Air strongly in the region."

Google has released its annual Zeitgeist; "Zeitgeist" means "the spirit of the times", and Google reveals this spirit through the aggregation of millions of search queries we receive every day. It has several tools that give insight into global, regional, past and present search trends. These tools are available to play with, explore, and learn from.

Google Zeitgeist is an annual look into the year's top Google Searches. It offers a unique perspective on the year's major events and hottest trends based on global searches, as well as searches conducted in the UAE and 35 additional countries. Fastest-rising queries in the Zeitgeist are the search terms that have seen the largest increase in search volume over a specified amount of time.

As 2008 comes to a close, the annual tradition of gathering up the most popular search trends continues. Breaking down billions of search queries into concise Top 10 lists isn't an easy task but among the major search engines. Still, obvious trends emerge nearly every year, and typically revolve around international news stories, major events, celebrity news, gossip and natural disasters.
