Etisalat 2008 profit up by 30%

Despite economic downturns, Etisalat is expected to report a 30% rise in profit when it announces its 2008 full-year results later this month, The National has reported. According to the average estimates of six research analysts tracked by Bloomberg, the company will report a 2008 net profit of about Dhs9.46bn compared to the Dhs7.3bn profit in 2007.
