Gulf Bank participates in Kuwait University's 3rd international conference

Gulf Bank participated in Kuwait University's College of Business Administration's third international conference, which was held in Shuwaikh campus on the 16th and 17th of December 2008.

Keynote speakers at the conference included Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah and Sheikh Salman Bin Hamad AL Khalifa. Under the name of "Economic Policy in a Rapidly Changing World," the topics that the conference tackled were Economic Diplomacy, Foreign Investment, Economic Integration and The Economics of Information & Knowledge.

Apart from several prominent organizations participated in this event, Gulf Bank was the only Bank, demonstrating its fundamental support for higher education in Kuwait. The conference highlighted important research and various policy perspectives, covering the critical economic issues.

With a strategic decision to focus its CSR initiatives on areas that are of greatest need for Kuwait such as the development of the country's skills base and human resources, Gulf Bank is continuously delivering exceptional initiatives that help the progress and development of the young generation's academic achievements. Gulf Bank's strategy remains for the Bank to play a pivotal role in helping to develop Kuwait's next generation of professionals.
