The available berthing agreements are for a five year period and are limited to one berth per person. The available berths will be located on both the East and West side of Anchor Marina for yachts between 10-30m in length, inclusively.
Michael Horrigan, CEO Middle East and Europe, IGY said:
"It is a pleasure to be opening up Anchor Marina berths to the public. It is a wonderful opportunity for yacht owners to secure berths within this landmark marina and provide them with the chance of a berth in this highly sought after region. With the current short supply of berths in the UAE, many owners have had to leave their yachts in other locations such as the Caribbean and Mediterranean. With our marina developments in the Middle East we hope to supply enough berths to meet the increasing demand."
"This announcement also marks the final stages of Anchor Marina's development before its opening at the beginning of 2009. This is a highly prestigious project for us and one that we believe will enhance Dubai's reputation as a world class yachting destination. We have worked hard to create a marina which matches all the needs of the yachting community and complements the iconic Palm Jumeirah." Michael Horrigan added.
