Alphanoor Electromechanical Works LLC (AEW), the MEP contractor for the project, has placed an order for RWI products worth Dhs875,000, according to company officials.

The contract involves the delivery of RWI's Elastomeric Duct Insulation sheet, a 13-milimetre thick (rolls) flexible, elastomeric thermal insulation that is furnished with a smooth black-coloured skin on one side, which forms the outer exposed insulation surface. The product is primarily used to retard heat gain and control condensation drip from chilled water and refrigeration systems, in addition to efficiently reducing heat flow on hot systems.

In line with RWI's stance on eco-friendly processes, the product is being manufactured without the use of harmful chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) or hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), and is formaldehyde-free, has low levels of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and is dust free, fibre free and mold and mildew resistant.

"Our focus is to deliver top quality rubber insulation products for projects such as 'Green Community West' as the projects' admirable commitment to building 'green' communities requires the use of the best materials available in the market. We are glad that our products will be a part of the grand design of this impressive project, and we are confident that we will be able to meet the expectations of our clients. This is definitely a great opportunity for us to demonstrate the quality of our offerings and the credibility of Rubber World Industries in supplying only the highest-quality products,"
said Abu Baker Shaikhani, Managing Director, Rubber World Industries, and Chairman of the Memon Group.

Nestled in a tranquil, traffic-free environment with landscaped gardens, paved streets, lake views and acres of open space, 'Green Community West' is set to offer 7,000 sq. ft. of luxury villas - each boasting of six bedrooms, 5,800 sq. ft. of family villas, 4,000 sq. ft. of four-bedroom bungalows, and one- and two-bedroom apartments ranging from 1,000 to 1,500 sq. ft. Positioned adjacent to the Dubai Investment Park and in close proximity to the Jebel Ali Free Zone, the community development is easily accessible to major business centres, and incorporates recreation centres and every other element required for idyllic community living.

As the developer and contractor of the newest 'green community' in Dubai, AEW has identified RWI's rubber insulation products in line with their aims to promote living in a green environment through the 'Green Community West' project.

"Our efforts to make 'Green Community West' as 'green' a project as possible have led us to partner with Rubber World Industries for their eco-friendly rubber insulation products. We believe that being able to offer customers a place to relax and enjoy the serenity of natural beauty involves the combination of eco-friendly construction processes and materials. RWI has supplied their products to a number of high profile developments, and it is only fitting for us to use their top notch products for this community project in Dubai,"
concluded Mohammad Abdel Kader, Project Manager, Alphanoor Electromechanical Works LLC.
