Sherwoods joins children with special needs for sports day celebrations

More than 135 students from DCSN were joined by parents, friends and Sherwoods' staff for the annual end-of-term sports day.

We are glad that we got this opportunity to see the smiles on the faces of these children, which reaffirms our continued emphasis on corporate social responsibility initiatives that are aimed at giving something back to the communities we operate in,"

Sherwoods had recently signed a major sponsorship agreement for the "Help us build a brighter future" Ramadan campaign of the DCSN. The sponsorship, one of several projects under Sherwoods' corporate social responsibility program, aimed to help DCSN create social awareness about its operations and generate financial support from individuals and corporate organisations in the UAE.

Currently, DCSN looks after students with learning disabilities, hearing impairment, autism, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, and Down's Syndrome, among others. Students of the special care centre range from 3 ½ to 24 years in age.
