- United Arab Emirates: Monday, January 05 - 2009 at 15:33
- PRESS RELEASE
National Trading and Developing Establishment (NTDE), distributor of over 6,000 products in the UAE and proprietor of the News Centre and Smokers' Centre, opens new retail outlets of News Centre and Smokers' Centre in the Dubai Mall.
News Centre was introduced in 2003, designed as mini supermarkets for people on the move in the busy emirate. News Centre offers premium convenience products such as confectionery, soft drinks and chilled juices alongside local and international newspapers and magazines. The shops also act as a showcase for NTDE's consumer confectionary products such as Cadbury chocolates; Vitaene C drinks, POKKA juice range, FIJI Water and Lays Chips.
NTDE Retail Manager Margaret Whyte states that the newly opened shops kick off a series of retail expansion set for the year 2009.
"Plans are set for additional branches of News Centre and Smokers' Centre this year. Arabian Plaza in Mirdif sees the opening of Smokers' Centre this January, while News Centre will open soon at Bawadi Mall in Al Ain," adds Whyte.
